I'm a freshman in college, studying to become an elementary teacher. I just got a brand new Martin guitar that I'm extremely proud of. I love to read and listen to all types of music. I love my dogs, and I miss them now that I'm at college. I love to read and of course, write.

Home....

Well, I've moved into my new apartment. It's nice, but I was a little homesick the past couple of nights, it was hard getting to sleep. I wasn't in my room and my house etc, so it was a little hard. We have all the living room furniture moved in and everything looks very nice. Two of my roommates got all the living room furniture, thank goodness for them! I don't know what we would have done otherwise. Saturday I started packing up everything, I should've started sooner, it turned out to be a lot of work. Sunday at 10 am we were able to start moving everything in. That was an all day job for sure. Then my mom and my brother went to wal mart and we got rugs for the bathroom, kitchen and entry way. Its definitely turning into a home.

What I'm Listening To: Joshua Radin. His voice is amazing and the song "What if You" is beautiful. It's all acoustic, but there is one song that he does with Imogen Heap, and it's very good.

Hey baby girl! How exciting...can't wait to see your new place. I'm also looking forward to reading your blog posts and keeping up to date with what's going on at college! Call me when you're ready for company - or if you get too homesick or lonely and I'll be there! I love you and am so proud of you.

A new blog post! I am excited!
I have to admit that I was glad to read you're feeling some homesickness, coz those of us at home, including Reilly, are sure missing you a lot... a LOT, LOT, LOT!
I am very proud of you, sweetheart. It's a big step in your life, and you're handling it so well.
Love,
Mom
