I'm a freshman in college, studying to become an elementary teacher. I just got a brand new Martin guitar that I'm extremely proud of. I love to read and listen to all types of music. I love my dogs, and I miss them now that I'm at college. I love to read and of course, write.

Acceptance!

Not too long ago I attended CMU and You Day where I got to turn in my application early. The next day I got a phone call saying I was accepted! I don't have to worry anymore about applying to colleges because this is where I wanted to go. This is a load off my mind, I've been stressing about applying etc. for awhile. I just have to worry about getting scholarships now.

I also got my senior picture proofs back. I really like some of them and some I don't like at all. I think it's going to be hard picking out the pictues we want as wallet sizes, there's a lot to choose from. I don't know if my mom and I are going to agree on all the choices, I hope so, we haven't started looking at them yet though. Thinking about it now, we probably should get that done, oops.

Today I made posters after school for our various fall sports teams. We were supposed to work till six tonight but it stopped at five, thank goodness. It's not that I don't like making posters, it's just... well I don't like making posters, I don't have a good excuse. Allison and I always make the posters together, I do the poster making and she tells me her ideas, it actually works better than it sounds. We always put our lopsided stars on every poster we make so that we know that we did them. We made a lot of sports posters earlier so we decided to make other various posters. Some ingenious examples are, Book Club Rocks, Si Spanish Club Si, and We appreciate you BCHS staff. It was actually quite fun trying to think of what to put on the posters.

What I'm Listening to: Snow Patrol, their Eyes Open cd is one of my favorites. I can't stop listening to it, especially the song "Set the fire to the third bar." The greatest song on the cd. I'm also really into Keane, their Hopes and Fears cd. I got this cd from my friend Kara and I love almost every track.
