The Last Day of November

The last couple of days have been quite warm for the end of November. I'm talking 55 to 65 degrees all this week. Then today it takes a huge drop creeping to 40 degrees with rain turning into a rain\snow mix. Tomorrow we're supposed to get 8 to 10 inches, I'm very excited for that, but I know my Aunt Kathy isn't. She doesn't care for that white stuff too much. But just to let you know Aunt Kathy, it's not December without a little bit of that white stuff, (there's a big smile on my face right now, I'd almost call it a smirk).

Grey's Anatomy, and Men in Trees is on tonight!!!!!! This is the best night of TV ever! Enough exclamation points already!

As November Comes to a Close so Does Nablopomo

Yes it is true, and very sad. I have enjoyed doing a blog entry each day*, more than I thought I would. I had started a blog early this summer and got busy and lazy so I didn't end up writing in my blog except for maybe once a month. So doing this Nablopomo has gotten me into writing much more frequently. My mom had found out about Nablopomo and said that she was going to do it and then I decided to do it too. It's been fun, but don't expect a post every day, I'm a teenager remember? We're supposed to be lazy, so I might just be lazy some days.

*Update: Well, almost every day. I missed the day after my birthday, guess I had too much on my mind.

Caps and Gowns

Well today we had the first of many senior class meetings. We got our cap and gown order forms and then all the other crap I might need for graduation. All of this is due next week- Friday I think. Let me tell you, this stuff is expensive. There's packages to choose from and some of them are over $200, that's a lot of money. I feel bad too that my mom and dad have to spend yet more money on me for all this graduation stuff. They're already going to be doing a lot for my graduation party and senior pictures and now I come to find out that there's yet more to spend on me for graduation. At least this will be the one time for me and they have six years before they go through it with my brother.

What I'm Listening To: It's been awhile since I've found anything worth putting on here but I just got the new Beck cd and it's pretty good. Beck is kind of out there to begin with, but this cd proves just how different his music is from the mainstream crap. I thought the whole cd was creative, the cover of the album comes blank and it also comes with these really cool stickers so you can decorate the cover yourself. Beck fans must be creative I guess.

The Brine Well

There is a plot of land that's right across from our driveway and there's an old, crumbling brine well there. When I was little I always thought that it was some sort of castle and in a way it has a castle-like feeling about it. Anyway here's a picture that I took of it.

18 Today!

Today is my birthday, woo hoo! I'm going ice skating with my friends later today and then I'm going out to eat with my family afterwards. We're going to Buffalo Wild Wings, so it should be really good. I went to see a movie yesterday with my friends Morgan, Melissa, and Kelsi. We saw Stranger Than Fiction. I would give this movie 3 out of 5 stars because it was so slow. And then towards the end of the movie you just want to find out what happens so that it gets over. But there were some good parts to it also. If you're a fan of Will Ferrell then you'll be very dissapointed because this isn't a comedy, it's a tragedy.

Thanksgiving

Today was Thanksgiving at my house. All the family came at about noon, I was getting hungry, any later and I would have died. We also celebrated my birthday today even though it's not until sunday. I got the camera and the Sims 2 Pets and a shirt from AE from my mom and dad. I got the new Real perfume from AE from my brother. I got a lot of money from all of my aunts and uncles and grandparents. I got V for Vendetta from my Aunt Kathy, Uncle Bob, Michelle and Michael. I also got a huge book of fiddle songs from my Aunt JoAnne, this book is awesome. There are so many songs in this book it's amazing. Anyway, today was a pretty good day, and I am one happy almost 18 year old.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! I cleaned the housed today and made four pumpkin pies. We didn't have our family Thanksgiving today, we're gonna do that tomorrow. Almost everyone will be here except for my cousin Susan and her fiance Stuart. We're also celebrating my birthday tomorrow too. I'm turning 18 on Sunday, I'm not doing anything, party etc, so I don't feel that excited about turning 18. I saw Borat yesterday and I thought it was hilarious. I was laughing almost all the way through it. Some of the stuff he did was jaw dropping, or eye covering. I read in my EW magazine that the unknowing victims of Cohen's "documentary" are suing him. The drunken frat boys are suing him for getting them drunk and then showing the film in America and tricking them into signing a release form. I was wondering how they would feel seeing themselves on the big screen ranting anti-feminist and racial opinions. They must want to move to somewhere where no one had ever seen them, Kazakhstan possibly?

Four Days Off

It's Thanksgiving break, and I'm thinking that I am most thankful for having four days off. I'm thankful for other things too of course like Orlando Bloom (I know how dorky that is). But seriously I am thankful for having a great family and friends because I wouldn't be anywhere without them.

On a much, much lighter note, I'm going to go see Borat:Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan tonight, I love that title. I've heard that this movie is really funny and that it is a little too much at times, but still good to go see. I'm excited, I think there's a bunch of people going so I think it will be even better in a big group. I've also been watching the third season of the OC on DVD. My cousin Michael owns all three seasons and he's letting me borrow the third season. I like it so far, but Marissa drives me up the wall. If any character had to die I'm glad it was her. She's always causing drama and I don't think she's that great of an actress. A lot of other people agree with me, so I'm not the only one, if you don't like my opinion.

What I'm Reading: The fourth Artemis Fowl book. I had to take a break, four in a row is a lot to swallow. But I'm finishing up the series so that I'm ready for the fifth one which I hope to get for my birthday.

Nothing New

Nothing much has been going on. I can't wait for Thanksgiving break, I'm so sick of the monotony known as school. I could tell you what we have planned everyday for every class without looking at the board. I could tell you what I do everyday when I go to help out at the elementary school, I mean I'm there for the same classes, morning work, journal, Reading, then whatever specials they have. I need a change in my schedule-I'm tired of this one. I keep telling myself that today is Tuesday (yuck), but it's really like a Thursday (Yes!). So tomorrow is Wednesday, which will be really like a Friday. I love it when we have school off.

What I'm Reading: Diva by Alex Flinn. She's the same person who wrote Breathing Underwater, only this time she's writing as Caitlin, the girl Nick abused. She's writing about after the breakup and when Caitlin moves to another school. I like it, but the author does a better job writing as a boy than as a girl.

More Pictures

I'm a picture fanatic. Just wait till I get my own camera and then this page will take forever to load because I'm such a photo pig. Yeah, you know you like it. Anyways, this first photo is of a set of rusted out Master locks that are on a gate that seperates our property from the obsessive, controling neighbor. Obviously you can just walk around the gate, but I think having a gate with rusted locks shows that "Hey this is my property, I know you can just go around but stay out anyway," or at least I think that's what these locks are saying.

This next picture is a tree that looks like a hand. I thought it looked magical, if you're into that kind of stuff. I'm not saying that I'm into magic, but if one (not me!) wanted to do magic tricks that would be the perfect tree-spot to do it at, that is if one (not me!) needed a tree to do magic tricks.

I Had a Nightmare

I had a nightmare, only this nightmare was real. My mom, my brother and I went grocery shopping. Now to some that may not be a nightmare, but we went grocery shopping on a Sunday, and not just any Sunday but the Sunday before Thanksgiving. There were crazy old ladies there who shouldn't be allowed to use a cart, and there were rude old men there who shouldn't be out in public. We went down the wine aisle, and my mom was picking out what she wanted for Thanksgiving, when this guy, probably in his 50's comes over and asks me if I'm getting the featured wine. I just give him a look like "You must be joking, I'm only 17." And then my mom cuts in with, "Pardon?" and he says, "I was just asking her if she was getting the featured wine, but she's probably too young," and then as he's saying this he looks me up and down, gross. Please, let me go take a shower now or puke, whichever comes first. Now this guy is getting on my nerves and he just keeps talking and I just ignore him. That guy creeped me out- like I said nightmare. Then people are very impatient and try to squeeze their full carts by when there isn't any room, so I move over to block them off a little more just to make people mad. I love grocery shopping. Not.

What I'm Reading: A Higher Geometry by Sharelle Byars Moranville. It's about a girl named Anna, who is really good at math. The story takes place in the late 1950s, so a girl being good at math is looked down upon. Her dad wants her to become the ultimate housewife, but Anna wants to go to college and major in Math. Some of the math lingo confuses me and therefore ticks me off, but there's romance thrown in the mix and the conflict between Anna and her parents, so it does make for a good read.

Here's Some More Pictures

Here are some more pictures from a walk I took. This first one is of a no trespassing sign on our property.

This next photo is of a mushroom out in our woods. There seemed to be a lot of fungus growing all over this fall. We got a lot of rain so that's probably why.

By the way our basketball team won last night in overtime. It was a close game, none of our good three point shooters were on last night. It's one thing when one of them is off, but if all of them are off then it's a really bad thing. So, the next game is Monday and I hope we play better than we did last night, especially if we want to win.

What I'm Listening To: Faith Hill. This is weird for me to listen to country music, it usually gets on my nerves. But for some odd reason I felt like listening to it today. I was listening to Faith's Cry CD, it doesn't sound so country twangy as some stuff does. I actually enjoyed listening to it.

District Champs?

Last year I was on the JV basketball team at my school, then I got moved up to the varsity team for districts. Within the first practice I was knocked down hard, and sparained my ankle badly. I ended up not being able to play the rest of the season because of that, but I was there when the varsity team won districts, and now we're back again for districts and the final game is tonight. I'm not playing again, but I'm taping all the games with my friend Allison. There's a very good chance that we'll win tonight and then the next game is Monday. So, I am looking forward to watching the game tonight and seeing the outcome of the game.

What I'm Reading: The third Artemis Fowl book. I really need to get those books read because I want to read the latest book. I've heard it's really good and I really want to read it. It seems like all my down time is spent reading anymore, I don't feel like doing anything else though.

Rain, Rain Go Away

It's been raining here all day. I don't mind the rainy days, I like being inside and listening to the rain pounding the roof. It's just that I hate it when it rains on my car. You see, I have this really cool sunroof/moonroof whatever it is, and I always open it during the summer. I don't use it now obviously because it's too cold outside. But when it rains my sunroof pours. My sunroof leaks water when it rains. When it rains all day it's especially bad; it pools in the top part of the sunroof and then when I break or turn, water gushes out onto me and whoever is in the passenger seat. It will also drip on the passenger side, so I always have a towel ready in my car for days like this. I think I would enjoy the rain more if I didn't need an umbrella for inside my car.

What I'm Listening To: Bonnie McKee. I found this cd at the library. I love this cd and every song on it. Rarely do I find a cd where every song is great to listen to. Warning: This is chick music so I don't think guys are really gonna love this as much as I do.

Opening Day

Today is opening day of rifle season. It's a very big thing where I live. So this morning I got up at about 5 am to eat a breakfast my mom made for me, my dad and my brother to get ready for today. I was out in my blind by 6 am, sitting in the cold dark waiting for enough light to see by to use my gun. I was out there until 11 am and didn't see a single thing. It gets frustrating when you sit out there for hours, in the cold, waiting for that one deer to walk by. It usually never does. My dad has been outside all day with my brother and they've moved around four different times and haven't seen a single thing and they've been out there for almost 12 hours! Hunting takes a lot of patience, sometimes that's something I don't have. I left the woods early for lunch and then I had to go to my violin lesson. I'll probably be heading back out tomorrow evening or even this weeked. Hopefully I'll see something soon, but there's a slim chance of that happening. I think the deer are smarter than we give them credit to be.

What I'm Listening To: Dirtie Blonde. I think they sound a lot like Saving Jane. Anyway, I really like Karma Boy, and their most popular song is Walk Over Me, but I've never heard it on the radio or TV so I don't really know how popular it is.

Life in HD

That's our theme for our yearbook this year. Life in Hi-Definition. All of our pages will have something to do with a clearer picture or a television show that could be in HD. So for the theme we have to figure out what we want to do for our cover and each of us needs to create an idea for the cover. We can be in groups or by ourselves for the assingment. Creating a cover for that theme is very hard, I'm in a group of three and we're having a very difficult time coming up with something. We got a picture off the internet of a girl holding a big diamond up to her eye and then to the right it says somehthing in German, I think. So I covered up the German words and put a big HD logo, and then I put 'Life In' above it. It was something to turn in I guess, otherwise I don't know what to do.

This is the picture I was talking about, very HD TV-ish wouldn't you say.

What I'm Listening To: The Wailin' Jennys Firecracker album. I love the song Swallow, number five on the cd.

Reilly

This is my dog Reilly. I love to make him sit or lay while doing weird things. I took these pictures recently.

This first picture is Reilly in a wheelbarrow, he loves that big yellow thing!

And this picture is of Reilly playing in the leaves. He loves to help me outside.

I Love Pumpkin Pie

Yes, I love pumpkin pie. I love it so much that I made two of them today. It was the first time that I ever made a pie and the hardest part was the crust. It gets so thin at the ends when you roll it and it rips easy when you go to spread it out in the pie dish. I also had the problem of the dough sticking to the wax paper, that was also difficult to get off. So, now they're baking and it smells so good in my house. I think my mom is planning to eat pie for dinner instead of what my dad is going to make, me too!

I got my senior pictures back this week, so mom and I went and got some picture frames to put up in the house. It took a while to pick out one frame and then to pick out other frames that matched that first frame. We got one 16x20, that is the center point of my senior picture wall collage. So, I helped mom with that today, getting the pictures up and taking other things off the wall that was in the way. She's quite short and I'm quite tall so she frequently needs my help reaching things. Anyway, we're still waiting for more pictures to come in and we bought a wrong size frame so we'll need to get another before we're completly done.

I'm very excited for Desperate Housewives tonight. It's the aftermath of the grocery store shooting, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to the housewives.

So, this is a picture that I took this morning out of the kitchen window. You can tell the window is in the way but it's still a pretty decent picture.

It's 7.2 Megapixels Baby!

So I had to wake up at 7:00 am this morning. Yes that's right, 7 am on a Saturday morning. It was horrible to wake up that early. I had to though because the brake pads in my car needed to be replaced, they were squeaking pretty badly. So I followed my mom into Midas and we dropped my car off. Then we went to Wal-Mart where we got bottled water, dog food, and cereal. Then my mom and I stopped at Best Buy, cause it was right next to Wal-Mart. For my birthday I want a digital camera, it would be great to have especially this is my last year of high school and there are some big events coming up where there will be times when I need a camera, so my mom agreed to go take a look. We weren't looking for very long when we came across a Sony Cybershot that was quite on sale. It's a 7.2 megapixel, 3x zoom, 2x blah, blah, blah, anyway my mom decided that she would get it then and there because it was at a good price. But the only thing is, is that I can't open it until my birthday, which isn't until Nov. 26, which is stll quite a ways from now. And the other thing is, is that I know that we have it and I know I won't even get to open the box until my birthday, and it's just sitting there, tempting me, taunting me, saying, "You know you want to open me, but you can't. Bwhahaha!" Evil camera.

I'm gonna go see a movie tonight, so I best get around.

What I'm Listening To: Jewel. She was on the Men in Trees show last night (which is such a great show!) as herself. I guess I wouldn't say that she should switch to acting, she should stick to singing. She sang 'Good Day' from her Goodbye Alice in Wonderland album on the show and she did a great job, it reminded me how much I like her.

Back At School

Oh I'm so glad I'm back at school! I had such a great day! Sorry, I guess I am a bit too sarcastic. But it really is hard to come back after being gone for two days. I feel like I've missed so much. In both of my classes we've started movies and you have to take notes on the movies, but the thing is, I've missed two days. And of course you don't watch a movie without doing some kind of report or essay on it, so now what am I supposed to do? And then at the elementary school that I'm at in the morning, I just didn't seem to have a lot of patience today. I guess I didn't really care all that much, like I said it's hard coming back.

The drama between the other two editors is over. I'm glad it didn't last that long, but I'm sure there's more to come. They were talking with each other, joking, laughing, etc, like there was nothing had ever happened. Well, good for them, can't wait for the next fight.

What I'm Listening To: The Waifs. They're a great band from Austrailia. They've got a cool bulesy/acoustic vibe to their music. I have their A Brief History cd, which is a two disc set of all live songs. I really like their stuff, and I want to see them in concert, but I doubt they'll make it to Michigan any time soon.

Trying to Recuperate

I got really sick on Tuesday night with the flu. It kind of came out of no where. I was throwing up a lot so I got dehydrated. I've been trying to drink as much water as I can but I still feel dizzy. So, I stayed home yesterday and I spent most of the day sleeping and then I stayed home today, trying to eat something and drinking lots of fluids. Being sick is absolutely no fun at all, even though I'm home I think I'd rather be feeling really good and at school then feeling really sick and at home.

What I'm Listening To: Nothing, I have a really bad headache and music would make it worse.

Wednesday, November 08, 2006

Too busy throwing up to blog much

I have the flu. Will try to write something more interesting tomorrow.

Drama, Drama, Drama

I'm on my school's yearbook staff and last year I was chosen as one of three head editors for this year. I'm with two other girls whom I kind of hinted at in my Is This a Victoria's Secret Runway Show?, they were the ones who got their costumes from letswearnothingforhalloween.com, so I don't really have a lot in common with them. We have been getting a long alright for the most part when it comes to yearbook stuff, but when I listen to some of the conversations they have, it's always about other people. I don't really have anything to add to these vital conversations, so I kind of end up being forgotten. I'm surprised they talk about the things they do in front of someone whose not a close friend. Anyway, today I found out that they had gotten into a fight last friday, and one of them went on about how "She won't talk to me now, I apologized and yet she still thinks it's my fault, when it was her fault in the first place" blah, blah, blah, you get the picture. I was listening in a way that made it seem like I was listening, but really I wasn't, I just get kind of bored with those kind of conversations. So hopefully they can work it out so that I don't have to be in the middle of their fight for the rest of the year or whenever they get done fighting. I don't think I'd be able to handle that for very long.

What I'm Listening To: Muse. Again. This time it's their Showbiz cd, I really love the song Fillip, actually I love all the songs. It's all good.

What I'm Reading: I'm re-reading the Artemis Fowl series. I just started the first one again. I've forgotten how good they are. I'm reading them again because Eoin Colfer came out with the fifth book of the series, which I didn't know he was gonna do, so it's a great surprise.

Monday is the Worst Day of the Week

Sorry about the post yesterday, as I was hitting publish post, blogger was put on a 45 minute long unscheduled matienance. I'm not really sure what happened, but about last night: We took Sam out to his birthday dinner at Logan's. Mom got sick about halfway through dinner. She was outside mowing yesterday and maybe breathed in a little too much exhaust from the mower. At dinner she had a massive headache and had flu-like sypmtoms. When we got home she wasn't feeling good still and tried to go to bed around 6:30. This morning her headach was even worse and so she stayed home from work. My dad thinks that she has carbon monoxide poisoning, so this might last a couple days until it's out of her system.

Monday's are the worst days of the week for me. I get up way too early for one, and thinking about going to school is also pretty bad. I'm just getting sick of getting up and doing the same thing day in and day out. In two of my classes we're covering the same things, it's getting a little boring. I couldn't wait to come home today and just relax. I didn't get to see Desperate Housewives from last night and I think it's gonna be a good one, so I'll probably watch that later with my mom.

What I'm Listening to: Nelly Furtado. I wasn't sure if I wanted Nelly's new cd. It just seemed like she was trying to fit in with Beyonce and Fergie a little too much with the two singles she has out now. In her first cd, it was a little bit of everything, folk, hip hop, r&b but it just seemed like her latest cd was gonna be hiphop\club, but I think it's more than that. Yeah there's the few that are club-like but there's some really great songs on it. So, if you're a fan of Nelly, I would definitly check out Let Loose it's worth it.

Social Butterflies

Instead of heading over to my friend Kara's house for a bonfire I stayed home tonight and watched Monster House with my mom. Kara had taping to do for her drama class so there wasn't any time to have a bonfire. But Monster House was a good substitute. I thought the movie was very funny, not too scary, but maybe it is to little kids. My brother went to the movies tonight with his girlfriend Kendra and some of his friends. Then he was gonna go spend the night at a friends house. Oh, and did I mention that he's in sixth grade? Nope I didn't. That kid does more social things then I did at his age, and heck even now. I'm sitting at home watching TV and he's out and about with his friends, that seems just a little backwards to me. The way he and his friends act I sometimes forget that he's a sixth grader. I feel that I'm a very social person, but my brother is a social butterfly, and I almost can't wait til he can drive. We live about a half hour from anywhere we want to go. A half hour to town, my school, some of my friend's houses, so running Sam around is kind of a big deal and no one ever feels like doing it.

Anyways, today is Sam's birthday, so Happy Birthday little brother!

What I'm Listening To: Rachael Yamagata. I love her voice, the cd is very soothing to listen to late at night when I want to wind down. I got her cd a few years ago and I listened to the cd last night for the first time since I got it, (I forgot that I had it). It feels like I'm listening to it for the first time again and it's great.

Happy Birthday to Sam!

Yep, today is the day before Sam's birthday. We're celebrating tonight though so that everyone is able to make it to the party. So we have some housecleaning and decorating and present wrapping to do, but it should be quite fun tonight.

Today seemed so long. I've had a headache for most of the day which dosen't help anything. My cousin Michael had their physics' catapult launch today. All the groups heave five pound pumpkins using a trebuchet that they made. I've heard that Michael's group did the best.

What I'm Listening To: On the way to school this morning I was listening to The Wailin' Jennys. The Wailin' Jennys are a folk band from Canada. I went and saw them in concert with my friend Kara early this year. The concert was great and I loved their music. This summer they came out with a new cd called Firecracker, it's a great sophomore album with a lot of good melody tracks.

What I'm Reading: Well, right now I'm reading a book called Breathing Underwater by Alex Flinn. The story is about an abusive boyfriend written from his point of view. It's a very interesting book especially from the abuser's view. I guess it's what you'd call an unexpectedly good book. You don't want to like the character for what he did, but you end up hoping that he can get past his anger and become the good person that he can be.

Just Quit Asking Questions!

Today I went with the fourth graders that I'm working with on a field trip. We were learning about Native Americans and how they used to live. Our speaker was beginning to tell us about all the tools the Native Americans used to use and how they used them. She held up a very round rock and was going to explain how flint works and how to break it into pieces to use as arrowheads. But before she can get very far into to her speech one of the very curious boys from the class raised his hand with a question already. I mean c'mon she's barely started and you already have a question! So Brian, the curious boy, is one of those hand raisers that shakes his whole arm all over the place so the speaker can't ignore his upraised hand. When she asks him what his question is he points to the flint and asks if it's a dinosaur egg. Give me a break. This kid is a fourth grader, dosen't he already know that the dinosaurs are dead! I mean how could he not? So the speaker, very slowly says, "No, this is flint, if you would let me finish I would have gotten to it." If this woman is already annoyed just wait until an hour later when this kid is practically jumping with questions.

So after the field trip I had to go home and get nice clothes for after school. I had completly forgot that I was doing this ushering thing at my high school for some tech meeting. We have a really nice auditorium and people rent it out from time to time for a variety of things. So I stayed at that for an hour opening doors and doing other ushering type things. Now I'm home and bored. I think I'm gonna play my guitar later, I don't know. I don't do any sport things after school so I have a lot more free time, which is really nice. Only 23 more days till my 18th birthday, (Sorry mom I had to put it in there)

What I'm Listening To: True Affection by The Blow. It's actually a really good song. It was free on iTunes this week. I had never heard of The Blow but this song is catchy. Download it!

Is This a Victoria's Secret Runway Show?

So I went to this Halloween/birthday party on Sunday, and boy was it a lot of fun! Not. I was very overdressed compared with most of the girls there. It was like I was Lindsey Lohan, not that I want to be her, and I walked into the Halloween party in the movie Mean Girls. High school Halloween parties is the time for girls to dress like sluts and get away with it. I'm not really into the dressing like the slut thing so I didn't stay for very long. I thought I looked cute in my Little Red Riding Hood costume, not sexy/skanky, just cute. Apparently that wasn't the idea behind this Halloween party.

I went to visit my cousin Michelle at her college on Monday. It was a lot of fun and it was great to see her. My mom, my little brother and Michelle's brother Michael went to. My mom bought us all hoodies and then took us out to dinner. It was fun to take a tour of the campus, it's very big and very modern looking. Michelle is such a sweetie and I always have fun when I get to hang out with her.

Tuesday was my friend Aaron's funeral. He died last friday from colon cancer that he had been battling for the past two and a half years. He was always so positive throughout his illness that it was hard to accept that he had succumbed to the cancer. He had a great heart, and was a great friend and he is a true hero at my high school. His mom had started a website that detailed every step of his journey, it's called aaronsadventure.com, it's truly worth visiting.

That's all I have for today. America's Next Top Model and Lost is on tonight- so I'll be pretty busy.

What I'm listening to: Muse- this band is awesome! My friend Nathan burned me an mp3 cd with a ton of their songs on it. This band if from the UK and we all know that bands from the UK are better than any other band. In my opinion they could give Coldplay a run for their money. Don't get me wrong I love Coldplay, but I'm really starting to like Muse. I love Black Holes and Revelations, a great album.

What I'm Reading: I love Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, I flew through these. I also got done reading Art Geeks and Prom Queens by Alyson Noel also very good, and Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys, this was very, very good but I can't remember the author's name, sorry.
